Alpha Tent & Awning
is situated squarely in the middle
of Vancouver's unofficial film production district with all
of the areas major film studios within a few moments drive.
This
luck of geography, coupled with our pro-active approach in dealing
with this highly important B.C. industry and the exceptional
skills of our project managers, fabric, metal and installation
departments, has resulted in the ‘film sector’ being our most
rapidly growing and profitable market.
Our
film projects include such varied work as the design and
installation of ‘period tents’, utilizing exotic components such
as buffalo hides, Chinese hemp and driftwood, for the movie
"13th Warrior" to the upholstering of the
interior of the spaceship and station in "Mission to
Mars".
